The Coco lounge chair was designed by Nanna Ditzel in 1973. The chair is based on perfect circles, and half circles, which can be seen from top view. These circles have also been the inspiration for the name; Coco.

Each Coco lounge chair is handcrafted by skilled artisans using premium Indonesian rattan. At Sika-Design, only carefully selected rattan is used to ensure exceptional quality and durability. Although often compared to bamboo, rattan differs in one important respect: unlike bamboo, which is hollow, rattan is a solid material. This gives it remarkable strength, flexibility, and longevity, resulting in a distinctive piece of furniture designed to be enjoyed by generations.
